Alyson Okamura, Marketing 2010
Dear Leavey School of Business students,
This year's Delta Sigma Pi recruitment slogan is, "Individually unique, together complete." Even though our group is very diverse and we represent every major and minor in the Business school, we share a common goal: to gain more experience with business.
Becoming a brother was one of the best things I have done at Santa Clara University. It has allowed me to grow so much as a leader and as a person. I have served three different types of leadership positions while being in the fraternity, and I have taken away so much. Currently, I am serving as Senior Vice-President so I can share with more students how truly great this organization is. It has shaped me to become well-rounded. We have professional, fundraising, community service, and social events. We also function as a business, so we get a taste of what life is like in the real world. I am able to take the lessons I learned from Delta Sigma Pi into the workplace when I graduate next year. I am ready for whatever challenge life brings me.
I strongly encourage you to attend our recruitment events to find out more and to see if Delta Sigma Pi is right for you.
