WELCOME TO GAMMA XI CHAPTER OF DELTA SIGMA PI
![]() |
The 2008-2009 school year has seen much development and improvement, and I would like to give thanks where it is due. First and foremost, I would like to welcome the 15 new Brothers who have already had a significant and meaningful impact on our Fraternity's operations. Next, I would like to congratulate the 15 seniors who are graduating this year, on a job well done. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication over the years. I wish you many successes in your future endeavors and we hope to see you at our events next year! |
| The 2009-2010 academic school year will be a very exciting one for our chapter. With revitalized enthusiasm and spirits, we look to re-expand our network. Our goals are three fold: 1. Create and maintain more meaningful contacts and involvement with the Leavey School of Business. 2. Find business and corporate sponsorships or partnerships within the San Jose/Silicon Valley area. 3. Promote our chapter as one of professionalism and excellence. We really look forward to reconnecting with our business faculty, and look to recruit faculty who are interested in becoming faculty brothers of Delta Sigma Pi. Each professor brings with him or her, a unique outlook on business, a lifetime of knowledge and experience, and the opportunity for our Brothers to create more meaningful relationships that extend beyond the classroom. If any professors would like more information or are at all interested, please do not hesitate to contact me! At the same time, we would also like to offer our business savvy services (or simply man power) to assist in the planning, promoting, and implementing of events sponsored on campus by the Leavey School of Business in the future. Our goal is for our name to be eventually become synonymous with the Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business! As a unique group of business-minded, dedicated, and intelligent individuals, we are also looking for corporate sponsors who are willing to donate money to assist us in Brother development and event financing on campus. In exchange, we can sponsor private (or public) events so representatives can speak about your company's benefits, share with you our exclusive binder of Brother's resumes, as well as promote your company logo on the numerous flyers we print and distribute on campus, as well as on our t-shirts which we wear frequently. Once again, if any companies are interested or would like more information, please contact me! Lastly, we wish to reinforce our chapter as one of the top organizations on campus so that we can continue to put on events and continue to provide educational and leadership experiences for our members. It will no doubt be a challenging task, but I hope that you will continue to assist our chapter, or take an interest in helping to promote Gamma Xi Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi so that our 2009-2010 schools year can be the best one yet. On behalf of our chapter, thank you to everyone who has made this year possible; all the brothers, Leavey School of Business faculty, administrators, and businesses. We truly appreciate all your help and could not have done it without you! Have a restful summer and we look forward to hearing from you all in the fall! Sincerely, Matthew Chee President Gamma Xi Chapter -- Delta Sigma Pi (808) 561-0025 MChee@scu.edu |
